The Purse Podium is an online store showcasing authentic Designer goods, specifically bags, shoes and fashion accessories - with brands like Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Hermes, Chanel, YSL, Marc Jacobs and more. It is simply a buy and sell type of business offering both pre-owned and brand new products.
How it started...
It was in 2006 that I discovered my love for designer bags. I started with the Juicy Couture and Gucci brands, until I grew fond of LV and Chanel, then became a real avid fan of Balenciaga. I tried to get into Hermes but it was too unreachable for me. I avoided having to pay in installments so I was more into other brands but that. Yet, I owned a few. Since I paid for my own luxury, I realized how taxing it was for me to be living upscale and maintaining my love for these bags. Moreover, keeping too much in my closet and not being able to use most of them. And so I tried to sell my personal pre-owned bags and replace them with new ones I was craving for! Then some friends asked me to sell their bags as well. Eventually, I discovered my passion for this new type of business and carried on with it by naming it Purse Podium. At first, I wasn't so serious with the business since I was full-time with my office job, and was skeptical. Although at present I consider this a sideline or my passion tree- this being my therapy from bag addiction. With my busy schedule, I had too little a time to do marketing or even open up a store, so my progress has been inch by inch - considering my special investment is down to the network I have formed for myself, and the trust I have earned from them. One thing we can all be sure about is that in any business... LOVING WHAT YOU DO is tops. The rest follows. Your achievements shine out in time when you keep showering your planted dreams and keep both feet on the ground no matter which height it takes you.
